PONGAL DAY CELEBRATION

Date : 10.01.2025 

           Pongal Day Celebration was held on 10th January, 2025, Friday. On the day all the students and staff cooked pongal on a large earthen pots, conducted games like lucky corner, rangoli competition, uri aadi and lemon and the spoon for students and staffs. Pongal day program was held around 3.00 pm. Dr. R. Rajesh Assistant professor in Department of Tamil, Aditanar college of Arts and Science College, Tiruchendur was the chief guest of the day, delivered the speech on the topic Pongal day and distributed a prize for the winners of the Pongal day games.

Usage: 

           Pongal day was celebrated to express our gratitude for the rich heritage of our harvest festival of TamilNadu.

30TH ANNUAL SPORTS MEET  March 17, 2025   30th ANNUAL SPORTS MEET Date :  14.03.2025 Chief Guest :  Dr. S. Sheela Stephen                 30th Annual sports meet was conducted in our college on 14th March 2025, Friday. Various sports events has been conducted inorder to ensure physical fitness for the prospective teachers. Sports events like 1,500mts, 200mts, 100 mt running, shot put ,long jump and high jump, discus throw was also conducted. At last, prizes were given for the event winners.
